Cruzin 4 Food

new nwcam header
Have you heard about the Cruzin 4 Food project, sponsored by NW Car Events Calendar (the little yellow book) and co-sponsored by Hagerty Insurance Northwest?

They're inviting car clubs and enthusiasts  to join with local businesses and food banks as part of the National Car Collectors Appreciation Day on July 12th.

Cruzin 4 Food is a project providing opportunities for car enthusiasts to show off their cars, hang out together for a few hours, and generate food and dollars for local food banks in their communities.

Cruzin 4 Food project allows businesses serving the collector car and motorsports enthusiasts with an opportunity to celebrate collector car awareness in conjunction with SEMA/SAN's national awareness day and to host car guys and gals for a few hours of fun while generating much needed resources for those in need.  Your business could be a host and/or a sponsor and benefit from the local and regional PR, goodwill and publicity.

The sponsors of this project are providing a suggested event plan for car clubs, businesses, insurance agents and local media to work together on this one-day event and still keep it informal and fun.

They'd like to invite you and your business to host a Cruzin 4 Food event on or around the July 12th date. The tie-in is to take advantage of the national and regional promotion of the National Collector Car Awareness Day sponsored by the national trade association, Special Equipment Manufacturers Association, or SEMA. This is the fourth year of this awareness campaign by SEMA, with car clubs and businesses across the United States participating with cruise-ins, shows, parties and open houses.

Cruzin 4 Food's co-sponsor, Hagerty Insurance Northwest, has many independent insurance agents willing to help coordinate and sponsor local events.

Food banks are always in need of support, and particularly during the summer months, according to food bank leaders. "The needs are ever so greater", stated one.

Cruzin 4 Food is not meant to replace the food drives that many car clubs, car shows and businesses already do, but to add a one-time opportunity that also gives car enthusiasts a chance to again show off their cars, invite the public to join them, and generate much-needed help for the respective local food banks. Your business can make great connections to the media, to car clubs and individual collector car owners through this simple and short event opportunity.

To host a Cruzin 4 Food at your business, send Bob an e-mail and  he'll help you with a suggested event plan and a marketing plan to help you publicize your event. (Note: Please put Cruzin 4 Food in your subject line).

Visit the website where you can register your interest and obtain additional publicity for your event. They will also be doing an extensive PR campaign throughout the Northwest to help publicize these events.

Let them know as soon as possible whether you want your business at the forefront of this event in your community.

Join them as a part of this unique win-win-win opportunity.
