Entertainment and Celebrity Appearances Announced For Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous
Football great, big game champion and NFL star Joe Theismann and former NFL wide receiver Mark Seay will be signing autographs on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Stater Bros. Court Street Stage area sponsored by Stater Bros. and Kellogg’s. Photographs will be available for autographs, or one item can be brought for an autograph per celebrity.
Entertainment has been announced with headliner Buzz Campbell & Hot Rod Lincoln featuring Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats playing Saturday, September 19 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
“We have entertainment that will satisfy all musical genres,” states JoAnn Webb, director of corporate relations for the Route 66 Rendezvous, which is produced by The San Bernardino Convention & Visitors Bureau. “From blues, rock and swing to country tunes, oldies and Latin. Mix in some pop, jazz and for the rockabilly lovers, you can hear Buzz Campbell & Hot Rod Lincoln on the Stater Bros. Stage Saturday evening, or stroll over to Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts Stage at Arrowhead and 3rd Street to hear DJ Bawb spinning tunes when the bands are not performing on Friday and Saturday.”

The Rendezvous is California’s hottest cruisin’ classic car show that transforms the 35-blocks of historical downtown San Bernardino into an automotive haven with 1,900 hot rods, classics and custom cars cruising. This event is free to the public who will enjoy the classic cars, music and entertainment, sponsor displays, legendary guests, contests and vendors.
