Hi Biker Friends,

I just got back from Bonneville Salt Flats where the legendary BUBs Speed Trials were held.

Bikernet's Ray C. Wheeler and me were fortunate enough to hang out with

the Valerie Thompson Racing Team

and watched with excitement as she rode her way to a personal best ride of 201.01 mph.

We also had a great week hanging around with some of the best and biggest gear

heads in the world.  The racing was world class and fast.

The weather cooperative with only one afternoon of racing cancelled

due to wind gusts. Here are a few photos to give you a feel for the fun and excitement we had.

Good friend and professional photographer, Robert Murphy (aka "Murph") took the photo above of

some of our team members as we prepared Valerie for her next speed run at mile zero.

A racer's rig/trailer becomes their second home most of the year.

Valerie's Fans came over to our Pit Area throughout the week  to get pictures and autographs.

Valerie took time to meet with everyone who came by despite being under the stress of performance.

The Bikernet Companies take motorcycle speed racing seriously.  While we did not run

our own team this year, we are constantly scouting for experienced riders

with the potential for racing greatness.  We are already working on our 2012 strategy & sponsorship

options and do expect to run a winning racing team at Bonneville next year. World-renowned

bike builder and the inspiration behind, Keith Ball, is drawing up fast bike plans

as you read this post. Ray C. Wheeler is expected to run one of our turbo V-Twin powerhouses.

There's a good chance we'll run a 1948 Harley Davidson Flathead and another yet to be determined super-fast bike.

Ride Safe Out There,
