What is the difference between a Custom Cover and a Loose Fit Cover?
All of Car Covers Direct covers are made by Covercraft. Covercraft is located in Paul’s Valley, OK. They make covers for all types of vehicles. These covers come in about 13 different materials, so we are sure to have one that is suited to your weather, climate and conditions. Most of these covers are offered in a custom Fit and a loose fit/ready fit option.
Custom covers are going to be a perfectly snug fit for your year, make, and model of vehicle. Most all custom covers come with pockets for your mirrors. Some covers also offer antenna pockets. If your car has any aftermarket options such as a spoiler, we can obtain dimensions from you and customize the cover to accommodate for any modifications. Custom covers are all Made in the USA and offered in 13 materials. Warranties on Covercraft custom fit car covers will depend on material, and they will range from 90 days to 5 years. Each Covercraft cover will include elastic at the front and rear hems to provide a tight fit.
Wolf’s loose fit (also called ready fit) covers made by Covercraft are going to be made for a particular size and shape of vehicle. This means the cover will fit your year, make, and model along with other vehicles of the same style and length. They will fit a little looser and will have no mirror pockets, but there will be enough room to accommodate for them. Loose fit covers are a great option for an easy on, easy off cover! These covers come in 3 materials, with warranties ranging from 1 to 4 years. All Covercraft covers will include a grommet on either side of the vehicle for tying the cover down.
