A Reprint from Veteran Motor Car Club of America
and Lots of Studebakers
We find interesting cars in the
strangest places. Our local club, the Northern Colorado Chapter, recently took a
tour to Nunn, Colorado, a tiny town on the eastern plains with a population of
425 people, no paved streets, and not a single traffic light. There, in several
buildings, we saw a collection of dozens of Studebakers, and even more
impressive, a huge inventory of oem interior fabrics and other restoration
needs, primarily for early 1960's Studebakers.
Just to make it
interesting they also have a few Packards and Airstream trailers. The heart of
the collection and inventory is in what was the original Ford dealership
building in the 1920's.
